Pianista - Pendant

With a striking radiating design loosely based on a piano keyboard, the Pianista pendant is handmade using recycled wood from an old piano. I only source unplayable pianos that are otherwise destined for landfill, dismantle and reuse the fabulous timbers.

The dark elements are ebony wood salvaged from the black keys, and lighter elements are spruce from the white keys and piano mechanisms.

The amazingly dark rich grain of the rare ebony timber is showcased entirely in its natural colour, not tinted in any way. The dark elements are offset by the lighter warm tones and striking tight grain of the spruce.
